This renovation of a three-bedroom apartment in Bolongo, Punta Mita, was conceived to update the finishes and enhance the vacation-living experience, creating a warmer, more functional, and more durable beach residence.

The design focused on a carefully curated palette of low-maintenance materials. Travertine marble, installed in rectangular pieces arranged in a traditional petatillo pattern, forms stone carpets that define the public areas and provide a timeless character. Custom fixed furniture and millwork were designed in rosa morada wood, complemented by woven wicker details that add texture and a subtle artisanal quality.

The project also included a comprehensive lighting upgrade and targeted renovations to the kitchen and bathrooms. The result is a contemporary coastal home that balances comfort, elegance, and practicality, elevating the overall vacation experience.
