Hidden in La Quebrada, inside Polifonic Guadalajara, Hibol reinterprets the speakeasy as a high-fidelity listening room. The project began with a precise premise: to design the space around sound and transform vinyl playback into an architectural experience. Its geometry, materials, and furniture were conceived to control reflections, balance frequencies, and deliver clear, warm, immersive acoustics. Light, texture, scale, and shadow enhance this focused listening experience, while handling the records and the ritual of selecting them add a tactile and emotional dimension. More than a hidden bar, Hibol is a one-of-a-kind multisensory environment where architecture, Hi-Fi technology, and music culture come together to reveal every recording with depth, detail, and presence.
